About Us

Paung Ku is a civil society organisation that drives positive social change. We work towards a pluralistic society that values all of the diverse ethnicities, cultures and beliefs, and that ensures equity and respect for the rights of all, particularly those who are marginalized.

Our work is built on a belief in the existing strengths and abilities, networks and relationships, and resilience of Myanmar civil society. We support a wide range of work in education, emergency response, investment, labour, land, local governance, media, natural resource governance, peace building, energy and environment.

We support CSOs in:
reflection and learning, accessing resources,
linkages and networking.
